History\, Philosophy\, and Purpose of the Pathfinder Club\n2. Understanding Pathfinders\n3. Club Leadership\n4. Club Organization\n5. Club Programming and Planning\n6. Teaching the Pathfinder Curriculum\n7. Camping and Outdoor Education\n8. Drill and Ceremonies\n9. Outreach Ministries\n\nIntroduction \nTHE BASIC STAFF TRAINING COURSE is designed to develop awareness in leaders of the basic fundamentals of the Pathfinder Club and to help teachers become familiar with the procedures\, policies and resources necessary to commence and maintain a Pathfinder Club. \nIt is not intended that this course should teach the basics of what Pathfinders learn\, but rather those basic elements of information necessary for any Pathfinder staff member or leader to adequately fulfilhis or her duties. \nParticipants will attend a minimum of 8 hours of seminar training conducted by the conference Youth Ministries personnel. This will normally be conducted over one weekend but may\, at the discretion of conference personnel\, be broken up into smaller segments if necessary\, to suit the needs of the conference or participants in regional areas. This training shall include both seminar lecture and discussion.
